About

Hi! We’re Daniel and Allison. We are here to share our story through this crazy, God-breathed adventure called life. We are full of happy and hard. We know we are designed for more than ordinary.

We have 4 kids in a blended family who we love with all of our heart: Gabe (12), Christopher (12), Emma (10), and Levi (8). Our hearts overflow for our little ducklings, but sometimes parenting can be rough. It is, afterall, our first time doing this! We love to travel and experience the ah-mazing place God has placed at our fingertips. More than traveling the world though, we want to change it!

I (Allison) am the more lay at the beach all day every day kind of vacationer. I am content sitting and listening to the waves crash against the shore while reading a good book recommended by Focus on the Family or a young adult novel. I was a teacher for 7 years when I met the love of my life, Daniel. After trying to juggle a family with teaching, we decided it would be good for me to be a “stay at homer” for a while. It’s a crazy job, and I am so blessed I get to do it. Music is a huge part of who I am. When  I listen to it, I’m one of those feel-it-deep-down-in-your-soul kind of people. Jesus is my source of life, and I hear Him through inspirational lyrics and melodies.

Conversely, I (Daniel) love adventure. My soul gets renewed by actively doing things. Where I am the most happy is outdoors, backpacking, hiking or mountaineering. I love the quietness and stillness of nature, and most often it is in those quite moments where I hear God the loudest. It’s in those times where I can think and pray about what’s going on in life. We all have both good and bad things that happen to us, but it is by sticking with God through these seasons where we grow the most. We’re here to share some of these moments with you.

We know God is leading us, and we hope we can touch at least one person through the stories we tell as we share this soundtrack with you. Sometimes the chords are major, sometimes minor, but they are always full of the notes that make up our melody. Come and see!
